I only have 1 thing to say: Holy cow!I actually have other things to say. I have never in my life experienced a more genuine and hospitable ice creamery in my 69 years of age.The ice cream is incredible.The chess boards are immaculateThe staffThe bathrooms are cleaner than any of my 573 whistles, which I keep in pristine condition as I am an avid whistle collector.One positive experience I had was with whoever the cashier was when I went in there. I brought to the counter a quart of chocolate ice cream. I am a simple man. They said, "Hello." I said, "Great." They asked me for $7.11. I gave it to them. I left the store and ate the quart of ice cream while binge watching my favorite show, the only show I've ever watched, The Office. Skatatatatatatata!10/10, would not bulldoze for the sake of better parking for Chipotle.

Oberweis does not need a review, best flavours of icecreams, Apple strudel, Black Cherry, Raspberry Chocolate chunks.. Can't get anywhere else!

Being lactose sensitive I'll still eat at Oberweis! Love their ice cream, shakes, and egg nog (when in season). Staff is always very friendly. Great atmosphere for kids with the checkers/chess tables.

I love the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Fun to play chess and enjoy a cone.

We stopped here as part of daughter's ninth birthday party. The staff was wonderful and the kids had a fun time.

Great staff. My dog Maggie really enjoyed her kiddie cup of ice cream.

The banana float. The checkers and chess tables.the happy crowds. The smiling hosts. The college kids who serve. It is a formula scripted for success. Now coming to the ice cream - ordered a banana float which was huge and came with two bananas and three scoops. We could customize the scoops so went with espresso caramel, cookie dough and butter pecan. They came topped with strawberries, pineapple jelly and real pecans. The chocolate chips were yummy. Great place. Illinois jewel.

Very nice location, small but wasn't very busy. It seemed clean and hung out awhile to play chess built into the table. Chairs could be a bit more comfy for long term stays like that.

Everything is so good. Best dairy products on the market. Pricing is a little high, but the quality is second to none. And, local.

Sadly, they did not have a packing system to pick-up ice-cream in bulk and take long distance. That is a missed opportunity for them. I could not take ice cream for 4 hours without ice, etc.

The milk is great. Chocolate milk is a kid favorite. Service can sometimes be slow but the quality is good. Staff is friendly.

I haven't had Oberweis ice cream in years. My family gets their milk weekly which is very smooth and fresh. Having not had their ice cream in a long time I was ready for that homemade taste, instead I got the contrary the ice cream had no flavor we tried the chocolate marshmallow which is a chocolate base and marshmallow throughout. It wasn't good and neither was the cookie dough. I am still looking for good ice cream in the Chicagoland area!

Great little ice cream shop. They sell other dairy products there like yogurt, milk and eggs. The ice creams were delicious.

Great icecream place. I heard about Oberweis from a chicago area native and made the comitment to get out and go and I was not dissapointed. There were plenty of flavors and the icecream is very creamy. The servers were nice and the creamery was clean.

I love Oberweis! I always get the chocolate marshmallow ice creambwithbthe marshmallow sauce on top... It is AMAZING. Through 6-20 they are running a promotion where healthcare workers can get a free scoop (cup or cone) with proof of employment (this location only)!! Thank you, Oberweis, for the special treat!!
